Back to the Beach Radio plays Carolina Beach shag music, soul, blues and Rhythm & Blues. We are dedicated to bringing back the memories of your trip to the beach, the sand in your shoes, the sounds of the waves, full moons and your first kiss. Back to the Beach Radio was developed in 2011. While serving in the Air Force I missed the music that was associated with the Carolinas. So, I decided to bring Carolina beach music to listeners across the world. We play the music that "brings back the memory" of a time when everything seemed to be easy, fun, and love.
Our hopes and goals are to be able to reach out to those around the world who will listen to the station smile while they are hearing their favorite song. I truly hope that we can also reach the men and women of the military who are stationed in places away from home and be able to bring them joy, even if it’s for a short time. In addition to playing great music, Back to the Beach Radio will also have segments of humor, funny stories (G Rated) and shout outs to those having birthdays and special occasions.
