Radio Télé Xaragua, RTX, has two big goals: Education and Entertainment. It is a fact that our society is becoming worse by the day and almost unlivable. Through Education, we are hoping to reach as many people as possible. At RTX, we realize live shows trying to tackle ignorance, racism, hatred. We talk about Love and the value of sharing and living together. Radio Télé Xaragua functions seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day. Even with our very limited staff, we are trying as hard as possible to bring our communities some good programs. We are linked to several Facebook groups, and we play their lives shows if it may contribute to a better understanding and a better world. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”, says the Bible. We know that a lot of people know and have the knowledge, but they choose not to use them for good purposes. Whether they do have it or not, without any exception, we target everyone including those who may not have it. Entertainment, we must admit, comes secondarily. While we play a lot and all kinds of music, motivating, encouraging, helping people through Education are our main purposes. I will conclude by hoping that TuneIn will give the opportunity to reach more people in this noble task.
